1 . Descriptions:
Step feeder is a material automation equipment, as its name
suggests, it directs and conveys the material to the specified
position by means of a step-shaped device. The material of the step
feeder is usually chosen from stainless steel, which is durable,
not easy to corrode and easy to clean.
The drive of the step feeder can be electric or pneumatic.
Materials that are not properly oriented will return to the bin to
start a new round of orientation, and materials that are correctly
oriented will be conveyed to the next section through the rail or
pipe.

3 . Step Feeder VS Vibratory Bowl Feeders :
Both products, the step feeder and the vibratory bowl feeder, are
feeding machines and they each have their own advantages and
disadvantages.
The step feeder uses a variable frequency drive feature that can
time the feeding cycle to the second. Vibratory bowl feeders can
cause material to fall into the bowl when sifting through the
material, requiring adjustments from time to time.
The step feeder always provides a smooth motion and the material is
relatively free from damage. For parts that scratch easily, rubber
or other soft materials can be applied to key areas of the
vibratory bowl feeder.
In terms of how to reduce noise, the step feeder can be made up of
rubber to form a lift, while the vibratory bowl feeder is usually
made with metal, and a ring of acoustic enclosure can be installed
around the vibratory bowl feeder to reduce noise.
